When I was little, my dad gifted me his old Pentax camera and made a dark room in the tiny wine cellar of our basement. Aside from daily swim practice, shooting and developing film was all I wanted to do. Swimming eventually led me to a short career as a professional triathlete, where I traveled the world representing Canada at multiple World Championships and World Cups. Consequently, I received a myriad of bodywork sessions during this time, but it was Thai massage that really stuck out. Triathlon lead me to Hawai’i, where I eventually graduated from UH Hilo. The Big Island held many poignant teachings for me, of which it gave me the time and space to reconnect with my excitement for photography and my curiosity towards health and wellness. I was ready to step into a career that felt creative, flexible, playful and engaging, and I couldn’t deny that I had two very different passions that fit the profile. I moved back to Canada, bought some new camera equipment, immersed myself in online courses and threw myself into the trade. Then I left for Thailand to learn massage from some of the best.

I look forward to sharing these passions with you.

A bit more…

I am a mother to two beautiful children. We live with their papa on quaint little Galiano Island, where we grow fruits and veggies for ourselves and our community. I spend a lot of time at the beach and running in the forest. We love exploring the West Coast aboard our sailboat.

When my partner and I first met (he was hitchhiking) we hopped on a sailboat and crewed from Salt Spring Island down to Santa Cruz and across the Pacific Ocean to the Big Island. Our dream is to sail through French Polynesia with our children and document the voyage.

You’re not running out,
you’re really running in.”
